The STORY BEHIND THE STORY
The House Wisdom Built is a very different kind of children's book than what I usually write. The story of how this final version came about is quite unique as well. This book was written in or about the year 2010 before I ever had grandchildren. My desire was to pass wisdom on to future generations. After praying about it, the Father led me to Proverbs 8:12-14 and Proverbs 9:1 which speak about the seven pillars of wisdom. At the time, however, I had no idea how deep the whole Biblical understanding would take me. I knew in my heart the overall church condition was not ready to tackle this concept and sensed the Father tell me to shelve it for a while, and I totally forgot about it. Then after going through the Creation Gospel teaching with Dr. Hollisa Alewine and helping teach the kids Creation Gospel version at Jacob's Tent Revive Conference, I felt the nudge of the Holy Spirit, but I was exhausted and went to bed. Well, at 3:00am in the morning I awoke like a lightening bolt and sat straight up in bed wide awake. Holy Spirit charged me to find the story in my computer files and revise it to reflect the Creation Gospel concepts of the Seven Spirits of Adonai and to include the menorah example. I did so as instructed and had it completed by 6:00 am. Astounded at this newest version, I contacted the main organizers and told them about it. They were all very excited to read the story and encouraged me to get it published. With a surge of interest in the Jewish roots understanding of the Bible, this little book can bring clarity and understanding to adults and children who wish to incorporate such concepts into their Biblical learning experience. The House Wisdom Built was not originally intended to teach, but rather simply offer a fun way to incorporate the Jewishness of the Bible and help build a stronger Biblical foundation for children. It is this author's hope this story and the fun activities included will help each child and parent who read it to focus on the character building qualities presented with each of the seven spirits of Adonai and help them thrive in their relationship with Heavenly Father and Yeshua (Jesus).
The Wise and Foolish Builders - Matthew 7:24-27 (NIV)
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
May every parent learn to build their house on a solid foundation of Biblical truth, soundness of mind, and trust in the Lord (YHVH) first and foremost. Leave the former teachings and doctrines of men behind.
Isaiah 43:18-19
“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland."
